October 18: Dr. Benjamin Carson

Dr. Benjamin Carson is world renowned as the first neurosurgeon to successfully separate Siamese twins joined at the brain. Dr. Ben Carson continues to pioneer life-saving medical procedures as Chief of Pediatric Neurosurgery at Johns Hopkins Children’s Center, and attributes his professional success to the confidence gained through educational achievement.

November 1: Earvin "Magic" Johnson

Magic Johnson is an NBA legend, chairman and CEO of Magic Johnson Enterprises, and a philanthropist committed to empowering individuals through education. Magic Johnson’s early interest in economics fueled a successful career off the court and his Community Empowerment Centers have invigorated ethnically diverse urban communities for 20 years. November 15: Dr. Chris Dede
