ARTSEDGE Youth Summit 2013

Transmedia storytelling

As the nation’s cultural center, the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts is dedicated to providing opportunities for all people to think, create and connect with the arts and creativity. The ARTSEDGE Youth Summit 2013 is a creative convening for emerging leaders in arts and media. Over three days in June, young people and their mentors will come together in Washington, DC for a transformative experience in creative skill building in the arts and media. The focus of this year’s Summit is Transmedia Storytelling. Participants will build storytelling and performance skills while developing new ways of thinking about the ways to use media in their work. The program runs from June 21-June 24, 2013.
