Prior to beginning this webquest, you will need to have
some basic knowledge of art and art history, such as familiarity with painting
styles and the various painting techniques and media. You should also be comfortable
teaching how to conduct Internet-based research and utilize Powerpoint presentation.

them will be helpful. Students should have intermediate technology skills,

manage various tasks.
- As as a follow-up to this lesson, a field trip to a local museum to view
examples of art and paintings is highly recommended.
