American Ballet Theatre's Ballet Dictionary
This is ABT's informative dictionary, which contains images and QuickTime video clips illustrating dance terms & techniques.
Ballet.co
This site contains reviews, interviews, and columns about issues and information related to ballet.
 
CyberDance: Ballet on the Net
This is a collection of over 3,500 links to classical ballet and modern dance resources on the Internet.

Dancing Online: History of Ballet
This text gives a brief history of how ballet developed from court entertainment during the Renaissance, to professional ballet, and then to modern movements of the 20th Century.

Introduction to Labanotation
Labanotation is the standartizied system for analyzing and recording human motion that is used at theatres to archive ballets. This resource explains what the notation looks like and how it analyzes movement.

National Dance Association (NDA)
NDA is an organization that seeks to improve dance education. NDA's site contains advocacy materials, and information about NDA programs and publications.

American Ballet Theatre
The homepage for the ABT has many good dance links. and an on-line manual for educators is coming soon. Their site which includes a dictionary of ballet terms

Ballet Fantasque
This ballet based on the Monterey Peninsula, is a nonprofit dance company that serves as a performing outlet for professional, semiprofessional and student dancers.

City Ballet
The homepage for San Diego's City Ballet includes information on their their ballet school.

English National Ballet
Images, references, and an online discussion area, the Think Tank; also a version of the Nutcracker. Will soon have a place for people to write reviews of the productions they haveseen, and a From Page to Stage, section as well.

The Fairfax Ballet and the Russel School of Ballet
Fairfax VA Ballet and The Russell School of Ballet. Lots of potential local connections for DC metro schools through the links to their ongoing educational series of performances presented each spring for  Fairfax County elementary school students.

The Joffrey Ballet of Chicago
Tells the history of the Joffrey Ballet in Chicago, staff & supporters, and performance information.

Kirov
The Kirov Ballet, based in St. Petersburg, Russia, dates back 250 years. The Kirov Academy in Washington, D.C. upholds the tradition, producing some of the finest young dancers and ballerinas in all the world.

New York City Ballet
History, company and dance information for this well-known company. Features an excellent resource for kids, featuring links, pictures, a page of quizzes and trivia, and an interesting Costume information page.

Nutmeg Ballet and Conservatory for the Arts
From Torrington, Connecticut, the Nutmeg Ballet and Conservatory for the Arts presents its 21st Nutcracker. Site good for those seriously interested in Ballet; good links for dancers and those wishing pursue Dance Education.

Nice site, good for resource linking for general interests. SF BAllet does lots of outreach and has created a national model of replicable outreach.

Virginia Ballet Theatre
Virginia Ballet Theatre Academy, formally known as The Tidewater Ballet Association, provides dance instruction to the residents of the Virginia Community.

The Washington Ballet
Home page for both the company and the school of ballet, featuring touring, outreach and information.
