Sometimes music is soft (quiet) and
sometimes it is loud. Dynamics
is the word musicians use to describe
how loud or soft the music sounds.
When the dynamics are loud, it is
called forte (FOR-tay). When
the dynamics are soft, it is called
piano. When composers create
music, they write down the notes,
the tempo, AND the dynamics they want
musicians to play.
