Patrick W. Farley



Patrick W. Farley

Patrick W. Farley, a ceramic sculptor and potter, has lived in the San Francisco/Bay Area for the last 24 years. Due to his premature birth, Mr. Farley has the condition called Retinopathy of Prematurity. He has been awarded Artist in Residencies sponsored by both the National Endowment for the Arts and the California Arts Council. Currently, Farley teaches ceramic sculpture and pottery, and is the coordinator for one of two national annual art exhibitions featuring artists who are visually impaired or blind at the Rose Resnick Lighthouse for the Blind and Visually Impaired in San Francisco. He has been on the Advisory Panel for Visitors with Disabilities at the fine Arts Museums of San Francisco since 1980. Mr. Farley also coordinates the Museum Access Program which assists the needs of visitors who are visually impaired or blind in local museums and galleries. Four of his ceramic sculptures are in two national touring exhibitions, "ART of the EYE" and "ART of the EYE II" (The Delta Gamma Foundation).
