Phyllis Frelich



Phyllis Frelich

Phyllis Frelich is best known as the 1980 Tony Award winner for her portrayal of Sarah in Children Of A Lesser God. She appeared opposite Richard Dreyfuss in Mark Medoff's play, The Hands Of Its Enemy as well as creating the role of Frances in Beth Henley's play, The Debutante Ball. Last winter she appeared as Ms. Scrooge in A Christmas Carousel, Mr. Medoff's most recent effort on her behalf. Her solo theatre piece, Lolly Foster's Daredevil Airshow was presented at the Kennedy Center. She has worked extensively with Deaf West Theatre for whom she appeared in The Gin Game, A Christmas Carol, and Equus. Television viewers will remember Phyllis from the Hallmark Hall of Fame film, Love Is Never Silent, for which she received an Emmy nomination. Other television appearances include guest star on LA Law, Hunter, Spencer: For Hire, Gimme A Break, Barney Miller, the CBS/TV film Bridge To Silence as well as a regular on the daytime series Santa Barbara.
