A Professional Theatre Program Fellow at the University of Michigan, Sharon Jensen apprenticed with the Actors’ Company, then in residence. Following this, she served four years, first as a casting associate and then as casting director, at Theatre Communications Group before entering a 14-year tenure as Executive Director of the League of Professional Theatre Training Programs. For the past nine years, she has served as Executive Director of the Non-Traditional Casting Project, and concurrently for the last four years, as chairperson of the Equal Employment Opportunities Committee, a joint committee of the League of American Theatres and Producers and Actors’ Equity Association.
