Biographies:
Will Rhys
Appointed an Artistic Director of The National Theatre of the Deaf (NTD) in 1992, Will Rhys is a founding member of the company and during his tenure has directed, choreographed, written, or acted in over 30 different productions as well as having been a member of the NTD’s Professional Theatre School faculty. In addition to his work at NTD, Mr. Rhys has been the Artistic Director of the Cleveland Play House and directed and/or acted at such regional theatres as The Milwaukee Rep, Pittsburgh Public Theatre, and the St. Louis Repertory Theatre. He has appeared on and off-Broadway as well as having served on the faculties of The National Theater Institute, Case Western Reserve University, and the University of Rhode Island. Mr. Rhys is a graduate of Wesleyan University.
