Improv is all the rage.

The popular theater of Pakistan is inspired by a combination of folk genres. It is based on improvisational comedy and has a huge following; its performances are even shown on television and reproduced in the video market.

Black Fish, a Karachi-based improvisational comedy troupe, was formed in September 2002 to introduce a new mode of entertainment in English to the Pakistani audience and has become a commercial hit.
